What for?
Heated panes effectively counteract condensation and can even defrost frozen panes, ensuring safe driving with a clear view.
How does this work?
The control is possible from 12 - 240 Volt whereby the power can be steplessly regulated. Even at about 1 watt per square decimeter, a warming of about 6-8 degrees Celsius is achieved and thus significantly inhibits the formation of condensation. Approximately 3 watts per square decimeter achieve a warming of about 20 degrees Celsius, which makes defrosting the slices easily possible. In addition, the radiation of heat into the vehicle interior results in a not insignificant heating effect.
Safety?
Not only the clear view, by the reduction of the condensation and the defrosting of the discs make our heatable discs safer, there is also a high security by breaking strength, because our glasses are laminated safety glass made of double tempered safety glass. Furthermore, no reflections by internal heating wires are to be expected, also 98% UV-impermeability guarantee the exclusion of yellowing of plastics and the volatilization of plasticizers.
We manufacture heatable custom slices. Our glasses are available in different shades and colors and can be installed largely problem-free due to the low construction of only 9.5 mm.
